Little Havana - Deerfield Beach

When we arrived, the table hadn’t been set up yet, which can happen. However, they had to combine tables, and we were disappointed to find one of them was broken and very wobbly. We mentioned this, and after some discussion, they set us up with that table despite its condition. Eventually, I noticed it was unstable and brought it to their attention again, prompting them to finally give us a decent table. After about 15-20 minutes, they seated two other large tables near us before ours was addressed. We ordered a pitcher of sangria and a pitcher of mojitos. Unfortunately, the sangria tasted like diluted water with canned fruit and barely any wine — truly terrible! The mojitos were acceptable. One of our friends had a dish called "Cuban Love," which was actually quite fine. The appetizers came out fresh and tasty, and we were pleased with those. However, we had to wait an excessively long time for our main courses to arrive — over an hour! By the time our meals came, the other large tables had already finished eating! This long wait was unacceptable. During this time, no one came by to check on us or offer additional drinks, bread, water, or ice. Finally, when our dinners did arrive, they were all lukewarm. My chicken dish, which two of us ordered, was dry, hard, and unappetizing. I have to say, our dining experience that evening was incredibly disappointing, both regarding the food and the service. Once we finished, we felt forgotten and it took forever to get someone’s attention to settle the bill. It was a really frustrating night. We ended up leaving the food uneaten and went home, swearing we wouldn’t return.

Very busy/live place for a Wednesday night. server quite busy and could not always get their attention if necessary. the food was good (filled potato balls, fryed pork, porosco and roasted chicken pieces) and comes with black beans and rice, and sweet plantains, but tended a bit overcooked and dry. there were live music that tended to make the conversation more difficult. beautiful place to have an office party.

Excellent food. Service was slow even though we went on the late side and the restaurant was not at all crowded. My main course was served lukewarm but they heated it up quickly.

Our server was outstanding, music added a nice touch. Some dishes were over salted. Very accommodating. Decent value.Overall good experience.

I really enjoy Little Havana. I've never had a disappointing meal or experienced poor service there.
