Winneshiek - Decorah

We enjoyed our time there . We were served a real margarita...texas approved. Our server was very entertaining.

Nice bar with great drinks, priced right! Selection of appetizers is good but limited.

Hotel Winneshiek is a great hotel located in the heart of Downtown Decorah. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating and always do their best to make you feel welcome. I would highly suggest visiting the bar and sitting outside for a cocktail. Lots going on here would be a great place to have a wedding! We will be back.

My daughter and I enjoyed our visit very much. The hotel is clean, and the beds are very comfortable. We also enjoyed a few drinks in the sophisticated but friendly cocktail lounge, and it was a real advantage that most everything was within walking distance.

Convenient to downtown. Well appointed and quiet rooms. Very good breakfast and coffee. Gotta love the hotel room bathrooms. Enjoying my three night stay.
