The Pinewood is exactly my kind of place. It's casual and unpretentious, with a focus on cocktails and a wide selection of locally sourced menu items that are sure to satisfy just about anyone...

For dinner, I shared a cheeseburger and rainbow trout with a friend; both were good, though not the best I've ever had. I also tried some chicken and wagyu, which were quite tasty. Finally, the beignets were absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend trying all of the above and, without a doubt, paying a visit to this wonderful restaurant.

The food was more hit or miss. The appetizers we tried, a salad and the scallop roll, were very good. However, the main courses were less impressive. One dish, the duck confit, was overly salted, while the steak was simply salted. The bolognese was spot on, though. Finally, the dessert was delicious. Overall, I can’t rate it as exceptional, but it had its highlights.
