Mcdonald's - Decatur

The McDonald's in Decatur, IL, has the worst and slowest service.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff was quite rude. I was waiting in line for my order when two other cars pulled into the drive-thru, and they were served first. When I said hello, I was told I could only wait a minute, but it ended up taking over half an hour for my order. After placing the order, we had to wait an additional 15 minutes. The drive-thru area was messy, which was surprising given that I take my children there often. However, I think it's time for us to find another place to eat. The condition of the drive-thru was as chaotic as I can imagine the kitchen to be. The owners should really take some time to surprise the staff and provide proper training. I should have left when I was treated so rudely about waiting. I won’t be returning.

This mcdonald’s has made a complete twist. my order was correct. the food was excellent (the frits are great because the frit fat exchanges) the service has dramatically improved. it is also open 24 hours. I've been driving to town late night.

My husband just stood in line for 5 minutes with no one in front of him. He was the only one in line and the cashier refused to even acknowledge him. She was too busy talking to her coworker. He even had his wallet out with cash ready to order and pay. ZERO acknowledgment. Where the hell has customer service gone? There’s a reason why this place has such a low score

I had my order messed up twice in a row, and it was just a simple spicy crispy chicken sandwich.
