Hickory River Smokehouse - Decatur

The brisket was tough, the mild sauce was too spicy, and the potato peel level was a huge potato slice. It was difficult to cut and eat. I ended up leaving the brisket for the trash, but the Pepsi was good. I don't plan on spending $55 there again for brisket. I'll stick to getting the grilled chicken wings instead.

The food is delicious, the service at the window was fantastic, and that's not all. Oh wait! Did I mention the turkey? It is outstanding, even better than the half chicken.

I ordered takeout tonight and picked it up in the parking lot. The food was delicious and the service was great.

Service Employees were nice but You seriously need to fix the huge potholes in your drive-thru. They're going to destroy someone's car, almost did mine I was creeping slow going over them, when something popped on my jeep. Also, town needs to fix them on the road going into your place

It had been several years since I've been at to Hickory River.I can honestly say that I was really,Really disappointed.I orderedA chopped brisket sandwichAnd I received a pulled brisket sandwich.I know the difference between pulled and chopped.The brisket was dryAnd lacked flavor.I probably will not go back
