Hattie Marie's Texas Bbq - Decatur

Enjoyed going to the Mcdonough location for Sunday brunch. Enjoyed a Margaritas. The brisket was so tender. Mac Cheese straight out the oven off the bone ribs. Also had the fried Crablegs it was good but I thought it might have been fried without the shell. However it was fried in the shell. Customer interaction was great!!

We arrived for Mothers Day weekend with the family. They bring a sweet cornbread out for the entire table which was really good. But the food overall could have been better. The collard greens are not it. They contained turkey which gave it some flavor but no real seasoning. The potato salad was really good. The baked beans were better than the collard greens. The chicken was alright and the pork spare ribs were a very small portion. I just expected more from the food. But half my family ordered the cornmeal catfish which was the highlight of the night (not pictured). If I return, I'll order the catfish!

When I tell you this place is amazing, the atmosphere was on point, the food was so good the bartender Zay was everything, he’s fantastic service was very quick…this business needs 10 , I will be returning very soon. I highly recommend this establishment.

I went for a quick take out order, and everyone was so nice. I definitely want to dine in one day. They make their seafood to order, so while I waited on my fried catfish and shrimp, I sat at the bar and sipped on a sidecar. The food came out fresh as promised. I ESPECIALLY ENJOYED the service better than the location in College Park. The mac and cheese and collard greens taste way better at this location, too, and they make sure your order is right without the attitude. I thought I was done going to Hattie Marie's because of their College Park location, but this Decatur spot has saved the day! If I had to complain, the only thing I could say is they forgot to give utensils and hot sauce, but besides that, the experience was nothing but good vibes!

First time but great experience. Everyone was nice and food very good. I got the 3 meat plate. Pork ribs, brisket and roast chicken. Very tender and definitely fell off the bone good. My son had sausage but beware it's jalapeno cheese sausage, I dislike it but he did. Greens spicy but tasty. All and all I'm definitely coming back!
