DJ Eyce is King and he rules alone Footprints Restaurant Lounge in Decatur…a true sound killa.<br/ <br/ Footprints Restaurant Lounge in Decatur, which has been entertaining the Caribbean community, celebrates its 20th anniversary HotAtl in December 2011. This is a true testimony of its owner Bert Laird, a naturally sociable person. FP is one of the first clubs in HotAtl where Caribbean people could go 'cut a tile '. Its acoustical sound system is so clear you not only hear the Reggae rhythmic style but also feel de beat…lawd the music sweet!<br/ <br/ However, FP looks almost the same as it did 20 years ago. Could use an updated look and feel without losing its 'island charm ' Way too many small TV screens, very distracting. Replace them with two or three strategically placed 55 ' flat screen TVs, perhaps? Go wireless and connect DJ equipment so that audience can interact with DJs via texting, tweeting, emails, etc. Add younger 'Guest DJs ' to the mix and rotate DJs. This place is located near 2 other clubs so it looks like business is sort of slow, but I went this past Saturday. This isn't my first time visiting this club but its usually packed. The food is always great, the drinks weren't as strong as they usually are. Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere
