Incredible. High end food simply presented. Clams raised by owner. Salmon blackened on candied beet salad. Lemon cake raspberry parfait. Name is changing in July to Salted Goat. You won’t be disappointed!

I want to preface this review by saying this is a '5 star for Florida ' review. Of all the eateries I 've been dragged to by my elderly relatives over the years when we visit them in FL, this is by far the best one. They had interesting takes on dishes that were delicious, and options for people with dietary restrictions. They also had an oyster bar, though we didn 't partake so I can 't say how it was.The service was only OK, but still decent by Florida standards. A bit pricey for the area, but I can live with that because the food was good...I 'll absolutely be recommending we go there next time we visit. Dietary restrictions: GF available options

This is my review of Genuine Bistro in Debary. Some background, I have been frequenting the place for a decade. It has changed hands at least three times I know of including recently. My wife and I decided to try it 3 months ago after hearing it had finally sold, knowing that the previous owner had been trying to sell for years. I am a former four-time restaurant owner including a 15 time best of Orlando award winning chef. I have opened numerous kitchens and enjoy a variety of culinary venues. The changes Kat, new owner, has made to the menu have been superb. As she is a local Floridian and a clam farmer, she has introduced many new ingredient sources to her and her chef’s menu. I also noticed fresh oysters, local cattle, cheeses and vegetables. It is important to me when I see local farmers involved in my dining choices. This is great for our local economy and the smaller businesses. The prices are very reasonable for the product that is delivered. I also love the inclusion of theme nights that are being testing, i.e. local women farmers menus. There are still some old menu favorites that have been tweaked. The former owner had become extremely inconsistent so we had stopped frequenting. Now it is back to being a weekly stop. I can highly recommend you try this eatery. You won’t be disappointed. It was COLD out on the patio today... we had a LARGE group, so the food took a while to get out- but it was worth the wait!! Yum! Thanks for welcoming our service dogs in training (and their people)!

Food and atmosphere is great we had drinks but I forgot to take pictures of thoseTwo of us had the steak and tomato Flatbread.... it was to die for.One had the chicken marsala yummy alsoAnd the other dish was chicken picata yummy as wellArtichoke dip for an appetizer was soooo good !! No picture we were to hungry !!Friday night music on the patio was good.Are server Brooke awesome as always and Christian the bartender is great also.If your in the area stop in and Support Local Restaurants
