Italia Bakery - Dearborn

This is a very good Italian bakery.  Amazing Italian almond cookies, absolutely amazing.   There is a wide selection to choose from.   I've moved away, but whenever I am back in town I stop by to get some to take home with me.

Best Italian Bakery. It's the real deal. It's amazing. How do other cities go without a place like this? I just can't imagine not being able to get fresh bread, cookies and pizza rolls. I love this place. It warms my heart to get food from here.

Pastizzi's Maltese pastries...yummy!. Very good. they come frozen with either meat or ricotta cheese filling. 12 dollars a dozen. I cook mine lower than the recommended heat for a little longer and they brown perfectly

The Best Brushetta in the D. This is a great place run by very nice people. They have really good Italian bread, pizza, pepperoni rolls, and all kinds of home made cookies and pastries. The service is great and very friendly. You have got to try their cannolis and their amaretti cookies.

This place is at least a 25-35 minute drive from my house and there may a hundred bakeries between here and there, but this is the only one with Authentic Maltese Pastizzi and they are worth the trip. This is the first time I've ever tried the bread, and it reminded me of growing up in Astoria, Queens NY... every one of my friends could not stop gushing about it. Also tried the cannoli for the first time and it was spot on as well. I'm an absolute fan, these guys have something special here
