Alcamo's Market - Dearborn

Imagine the best sub you've ever tasted... Alcamo's surpasses it (and it’s likely more affordable, too). They offer a wonderful range of Italian groceries, fresh meats, and their house-made sausage is simply delicious. Plus, the staff members are incredibly friendly. Overall, it's an amazing place. Honestly, 5 stars doesn't do it justice.

How is John doing? I heard he was having some health issues. Please let him know that some of his old customers miss him, especially his perfect veal scalloppini. A few people have learned from him, and God bless everyone involved in the great work at Alamos. I hope the restaurant continues to thrive for the new members of the Chiemento family.

My neighbor and I visited Alcamo's for the first time on June 8, 2017, and we were unsure of what we wanted. The staff was fantastic and incredibly helpful. One employee, in particular, named Derrick, really stood out. He took the time to explain the various products and was very knowledgeable. Not only was he involved in sales, but he also helped prepare the food. Alcamo's is an essential stop in Detroit. Their subs are the best in the state, and most of them are only $5. You really shouldn't go to Subway—make the time to visit Alcamo's instead!

Love this place. Been going here since I was a little girl when my grandpa would take me. Brings back many memories. Only place we go for authentic Italian pasta and sauce ingredients!

After seeing them win an award from Mlive I drove 40 minutes to try their sandwich and was amazed! Special shout out to my sandwich maker for helping me carry my purchases to the counter and telling me about some of their other specialties. I had just gone through reconstructive wrist surgery.
