No Longer Operating Wellingtons - Deal

I am from Deal but live abroad for work. A highlight of visits home for numerous years has been breakfast with my family at Wellingtons. Today was one of those occasions, however the quality, flavour and attention to detail left with the previous tenant. On a sunny Sunday morning in Deal, it would have been typical to have to queue for a table in Wellingtons but not today and nor shall there ever be a queue again if the quality of their food does not improve. I leave with an overwhelming taste of grease in my mouth and a feeling of disappointment having over paid for the lowest quality, poorly cooked produce. The previous tenant made changes to elevate the original café image as a bit of a greasy spoon ... but as they say what goes up must come down and I would say the elevator is currently in the basement.
