I am in any case the fat noodles, the note on zitrus on each nudel
The food here was amazing, the place kept popping up on my Instagram feed and it was worth the trip. Staff is super friendly, music was a bit too loud for my liking but I won’t hold that against them. The wings they had was literally the best wings I’ve ever tasted. The place is a bit small, so always best to go during a quiet time. They should’ve gotten a 5/5 but because of the size, we had to wait a little for seating also. But it’s a great concept, fresh tasty food. Loved it.
Finally tried the food from sticky rice at Jumeirah. This is a small thai family owned business that prepares food with the authentic thai food with passion and heart. We have reach the restaurant around 7:30 and already the place was packed. They do not accept reservations if less than 3 people due to which we had to wait a good 20 25 mins to get a table. The small is small which give the homely feeling at the the same time, waiting time is more. They were ready to take our orders before we got the table which helped to get our the starters in 10 mins. They initially served us two different types of crackers with dry chilli paste which was simply yumm!! As a person with spicy palette, this was love at first taste. Then came the Kanoom Cheep we got half of steamed and half of fried dumplings. The steamed dumplings were good because the flavours were quite bold and evident but the fried were normal. The flavours were not super evident with the fried. Next came the sticky rice in a packed plastic small, woven closed basket. Along with the rice that came out with the Kaeng keaw wan classic thai green curry in chicken. The portion size was quite good and tasted fresh and exquisite. We had ordered for medium spicy but still we felt it was not spicy enough. The chicken was juicy and the vegetables were fresh. Finally came the mango and sticjy rice ice cream. We both had doubts about the coconut ice cream, not being fans of it. This dessert took the price. The coconut flavour was evident but not at all over powering. The mango was chilled and paired with the green sticky rice, it was one of the best desserts i have tried so far. Thank you for having us over and will be back soon for more.
This place was on my places to visit list for a long while now! What luck I did not forget it as the food is simply delicious in simple words: loved the vegan green curry pad Thai. You should definitely not miss trying out this lil hidden gem:
I wish I can write two reviews here; one for the food (4/5) and another one for the mango and sticky rice ice-cream (5/5). This place is a great hidden gem in JVC; it’s a bit hard to get a table but it’s worth it. Skip the spring rolls and dumplings and order the wings for appetizer (they are delicious). The green curry was one of the best I have ever had in Dubai and their sticky rice compliments the dish perfectly. I would definitely go back but until then, I will keep stopping by for their ice-cream every-time I’m in JVC.
