I am not one to write reviews for restaurants, but my experience in Blue Jade was an astonishing one. We went to this restaurant to celebrate my mothers birthday. We have set our eyes on the private dining room and all our remarks have been acknowledged and successfully fulfilled. The room was perfectly set. There were flowers as the tables centerpiece, the lighting was exactly right. Music was soft and unobtrusive. Food. It was delicious. Private dining offers 3 sets of menus and our party chose all of them. The starters were yummy and different. Lobster won-tong was my favorite. Crab meat soup was the best that i have ever tried. There were 2 main courses for each set of menus i had oven roasted shrimps, that were cooked just right and soft cheese was an amazing addition for my taste buds. The tenderloin was medium rare and extremely soft topped by a delicious mushroom sauce. The only thing else that i should mention is that the portions are really big! The deserts were also very very good. Oh and you have to try their special green tea and passion fruit cocktail, its sensational Service. Here in Dubai we have become very picky and spoiled, but the staff at Blue Jade were simply astounding. They were courteous and attentive. Always with a smile on their faces. Special thanks to Molly and Rajesh. They knew exactly how to make our dinner an even better experience! They have even presented my mom with a hand made origami birthday card that had wishes for her written in all the staffs native languages! Not to mention that the complimentary strawberry cheesecake was phenomenal. The kids were given an extra table, where they could draw and color as well as goody bags filled with tasty treats. Overall I think my family and I have found a new favorite spot in Dubai! Visit Blue Jade Ritz Carlton Hotel JBR, You will not be disappointed.
