Well, that was nothing great, they expect how it should be, but the broth basket will blow them away safely. look at the pictures to see the sweet sizes. falafel wrap: another concept, falafel crushed and spread as paste on the brot and filled with spices and sauces. you like it, but for me falafel wrap means that pieces of falafel balls are decorated by my own teeth
My favorites always, I visit this restaurant every week. everything they serve is so fresh and tasty especially the brot. tasty eating, reasonable prices.
We have tried mezzeh platter and mixing grills from baydar for a delivery order. the order came in time and the food was hot and fresh. the mezzeh platter had hummos, green salad, grape leaves, cheese rekak (sort of spring rolls,) spinach fatayer, kibbeh and meat sambousik. even if the menu mentions moutabal, but we did not get it. we were somewhat disappointed by the very small amount of hummos. at least they share kuboos brot. and the fried items were fresh and tasty. we liked the perfectly balanced cheese keserekak. but for us was the star of the night the green salate. the vinegrette was really nice tangy that the sour the rich fritted objects balanced out. the mixed grill had a spits of sheesh tawook, arayes, minced meat kebabs and beef cubes (shish kebab likely) . all grills were fresh and interesting, the meat looked a little dry, but was not and was moist together with beautifully spiced and delicious. the court comes with a real generous portion french fries, but the accompanying garlic sauce really harmonies the aromen. all in all we had a good experience, good enough to try them again in future.
Still found a good Lebanese restaurant. the interiors are really clean, simple and bright colors make it look more vivid. the service was very fast and very well organized. the employees were really inviting. starting from the drinks I had avocado with pistachios, which was really refreshing and so well mixed with cream. the appetizers that I had, was the tobouleh, fattoush from cold mezze served with fresh assorted broths so fluffy and soft. the hot mezze what I had was the chicken liver with molasses, batata harra, mix plated mezze (wine leaves, fatayer, spring rolls, kebbeh) it was so good that they want more. the sides were the classic hummos and mutabul simple and yet delicious. the net was the mix grill and lamb pops. Lamb aprons were a bit dry, but mix-grill was really fresh and tasted good with fresh thick frits. the zitrusmushalabieh was so tasteful and gave this summer taste. next was the kunafe, the amzing cheese and freshly baked was really commendable. but overall good for friends and families gathering restaurant. Some items are somewhat expensive, but overall good experience.
Baydar is Lebanese food paradise with exhilarating bites as you dig into your meal. The interiors are simple and neat. Their service is commendable and the staff is well trained because they give amazing suggestions when you ask anything about the menu. So, we started off with freshly squeezed orange juice and lemonade. I loved both the juices as they were fresh and not diluted with sugar or other ingredients.
