Cafe Du Japon - Daytona Beach

I am a big fan of Japanese cuisine, and the Nabeyaki Udon I had was truly some of the best food I've ever tasted. I definitely plan to return whenever I'm in the area!

The food was incredible. While there were fewer vegetarian options, the sushi was outstanding.

This restaurant has no signs on the outside to say what it is. The front door is a regular door with a doorknob. It looks like the service entrance for the Italian place next door. It feels like eating at a speakeasy. The inside is sparsely decorated and dimly lit, except for a motorized disco ball that spins above the center of the dining space. That being said, their sushi is super cheap, super fresh, and incredibly flavorful. Their udon soup is great. They have about as big of a selection of kinds of sushi and different rolls as I have ever seen. This is one of the coolest restaurant experiences that I have ever had.

Sushi quality was excellent!! Service was attentive (I was there early). Rolls cut for easy enjoying (not too large). I will be back!
