Smales Pretzel Bakery - Dayton

I finally got my fix! I stopped by yesterday to buy some soft pretzels, and I couldn't resist tasting one before I left. Instantly, I was transported back to elementary school—what a nostalgic moment! I've been craving that flavor for 22 years. I had to make sure to drop by again this morning on my way to work. I'm one very satisfied customer!

The best pretzel shop in Dayton! I've been visiting Smales since I was 3 years old, and I still haven't found a pretzel shop that compares to them!

I'm really happy to have discovered this page! In the mid-1960s, I lived for a short while at 309 Xenia Avenue. There was a bar nearby at 308, if I remember correctly. I went to Ruskin Elementary, and a classmate of mine (I can't recall his name) introduced me to your soft pretzels. We used to visit almost every day, and I absolutely loved them—I had never even seen a soft pretzel before!

I love Smales Pretzel Bakery. I was born in Dayton and I have been going to their establishment ever since I was old enough to walk. I have wonderful memories of when I was small and when I went to Smales with my Mother Aunt...the gentleman at Smales would always give me a free soft pretzel. Now that I am sixty-eight live on the West Coast in WA State I am very grateful Smales ships the soft hard pretzels. I wish Smales continued success. Sincerely...your client forever.

We have grown up on these pretzels. Every time we are in Dayton, this is a must stop!! We even have the hard Pretzels shipped to us they are sooo addicting!! Thank you for continuing to keep your company open such a treat!!
