La Isla Del Tico - Dayton

I was initially hesitant to give it a try, but I'm so glad I did. These are, without a doubt, the best tacos I have ever tasted. If you're looking for an authentic experience and want to enjoy real tacos, this is the place for you. I'm definitely planning to return often!

This is a classic hole-in-the-wall, family-owned restaurant located in the historic area of Dayton. While the ambiance may not be the best, the delicious traditional Mexican food and the friendly, helpful staff make this small eatery a delightful find. Be sure to try their homemade horchata and flor de Jamaica drinks; they're incredibly refreshing, and I absolutely loved them!

Absolutely delicious! We ordered several taco platters, and every single taco was fantastic. However, if you have ten people, 2-3 trays will be more than sufficient. We mistakenly ordered 5, thinking it wouldn't be enough. What a rookie mistake! The portions are really generous here! Seriously, some of the best tacos I’ve ever tasted!
