I love dining at this restaurant. They no longer have daily specials and the last time I visited, the air conditioning was broken. However, the food is top-notch, I give it a 5 out of 5 rating.
I absolutely love this place! There is a lovely young lady with Down syndrome named Carlee who works there, and she is the sweetest person you will ever meet. I may be a bit biased because she is my sister, but everyone adores her and she loves her job. Sara, Kris, and Kellie (the general manager) are also fantastic. The staff there are all wonderful and the food is delicious. I especially enjoy the cheese steak sandwich, as they offer many unique options that other places do not have. As someone who has worked at a sub shop for 7 years, I can be quite picky about my sandwiches, but Firehouse always exceeds my expectations. If you ever visit, be sure to say hello to Carlee! Also, their pickle spears that come with the subs are amazing - the best pickles I've ever had.
Friendly staff! cleaner place and pretty busy around 7 o'clock (that means that the product has a better chance to get fresh!
This company puts the wet tomatoes on the bottom of the sandwich and by the time it gets to your dinner table, the bottom half of the sub is so unbelievably soggy that it's actually impossible to pick up and eat. Who taught them how to make a hoagie? It's bun, spread, meats, cheese, veggies, spread/sauce, bun. Even SUBWAY understands this fundamental recipe. I paid almost $30 for food that I literally couldn't eat. Maybe firemen should put out fires and not make sandwiches???? Service at the restaurant was good, no complaints there. The problem apparently lies with the company standards.
