In today's world of Biden economics, this fantastic restaurant may be short-staffed, but they compensate with their wonderful demeanor, friendly service, delicious food, and stunning wooden interior. The ambiance alone is worth the visit to this little-known brewery located near a historic area in Dayton. The impressive wooden beams and posts, held together with wooden pegs, combined with the scent of a wood-burning fire and the in-house brewing, create a charm you won’t find anywhere else in the vicinity. I highly recommend it—it's truly one of a kind!

The head brewer was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He shared insights about the history and brewing process with my son and me, addressing all of our questions. Both my son and I were able to find beers that we enjoyed. Thank goodness, no IPAs! ?

My friend and I enjoyed a lovely time sitting outside in the beautiful fall sun. I had some delicious moscato that I really liked!

Love this brewery. They use an old style gravity fed brewing system. Colton, the brew master was very friendly and gracious with his time explaining everything. Very knowledgeable. Although a limited menu, the German food was good. Although being located In the Carlton historical park, you can still enjoy without going to museum.

Great place to visit. Enjoy the atmosphere. Love the smell of wood fired brewing. Wurst and sour saurkraut.
