It feels like someone's grandma is in the kitchen. And someone's grandmother IS in the kitchen. It has not been packed when I have gone, but it has been steady and busy. When you walk in, take a seat. If someone hasn't come out to help you, ring the bell on the counter. Ask questions if you don't understand what you are ordering or once you get your check, if you don't understand what you are paying. This is not Mexican food. Spicy-ness is different, as in not very hot spicy, but there is hot sauce on the tables. Cost is about $15-22 person drink and meal.Parking: There is a small lot next to the building and parking along the street.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome.
The food was very delicious. The girl in front had an attitude with me. Why don't they want to talk to me? What do I know! But the lady makes me happy. I guess the girl thought I didn't speak Spanish? Well, as they say, life gives you surprises. I will return.
Just happened to pass by Big Baleada and decided to stop by. So glad we did! Cute little place that offers Honduran food for dine in or take out. We had the Papusas and two of the breakfast platters (egg, avocado, beans, plantains, and carne). All so good! Oh the horchata was great as well!
Burrito was huge and very delicious, generous meat portions
Very clean, staff attentive and friendly, food was good and a great price. Our favorites were chorizo Baleada and beef empanada. We will definitely be back.
