Agnes Eats - Dayton

Really enjoyed lunch! First time ordering, first time having Carribean food. Particularly liked the chicken curry bowl--hard to stop eating it! The coco bread chicken cheese sandwich was also great--we got it without sauce or mayo this time and the spiced chicken held up all by itself. Everything had the taste and feel of a home-cooked, slow-cooked comfort meal. If I had a Caribbean auntie who was a good cook, this is what I imagine she'd cook for me. Also the family who runs it is very nice. Happy to support a Dayton local small business!

Wow! I was hesitant to try that insecure if I found something I liked, but holy cow it was delicious. I had a veggie bowl with cabbage it was incredible and so tasteful. we also had a brown sugar-limonade-yum!

Literally just finished eating my first jerk chicken cheese sandwich and had to get online to show love. Excellent food. Had a little kick to it, but not too spicy. What I enjoyed the most is it felt like I was eating clean, healthy food, which is important for me. Two thumbs up. I will be back!!!

Had an excellent Coco Bread lamb Sandwich. The cashier was very helpful with my selection. I will be back.

This restaurant is truly fantastic! I had the jerk chicken bowl with plantains, tamarind tea, and banana pudding for dessert, and the only word that comes to mind to describe it is delicious—it was gone before I knew it! This meal brought back wonderful memories of home for me. Jose and the staff were incredibly friendly and assisted me in choosing what to order. I will definitely be returning! Thank you, Anges, for an amazing lunch!
