New Fortuna - Days Bay New Zealand

I absolutely love New Fortuna! I've been a regular for the past 18 months and still enjoy dining there. The yum cha is fantastic, and the main courses are delicious. We always order tentacles and rice rolls, and usually get around 8 to 10 dishes whenever we visit. The staff is wonderful and incredibly kind, making it a very family-friendly place. While the decor is a bit dated, it doesn't bother me at all. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great-tasting restaurant for the whole family.

I've been hooked on this restaurant since our staff dinner last year, but it's their chicken feet that keeps me coming back! Their recipe is incredibly delicious.

Without a doubt, the best Yum Cha in town! I absolutely loved their chicken feet and prawn dumplings, which were incredibly delicious and generously portioned. To my surprise, I didn't feel very thirsty after our brunch, which I believe is a result of them not overdoing the salt or seasoning in their dishes. I truly appreciate their great service and fantastic food. I will definitely be back!

Love love love New Fortuna, we have become regulars for the Yum Cha, it’s our go to place for any kind of celebration (or hang over). The dim sims, crispy squid, dumplings, duck, literally everything is incredible. Service is fantastic as well!

Been to yum cha twice and enjoyed it so much that I had to post a review tiny bit more expensive than other yum cha places and no bowls just plates to eat from but yummy food and a definite place to return for yum cha whenever we're in Petone
