The only reason I'm not giving this place a one-star rating is that the sauce was decent. October 11th is National Sausage Pizza Day, and the entire month is celebrated as National Pizza Month! You would expect a pizza place to take advantage of that, but this one did not. In fact, the custom sausage and cheese pizza I ordered was rather disappointing, to say the least. I picked it up at the designated time, but it seemed to have sat in the back for a while. By the time I got home (which isn't far), the cheese had cooled and solidified into a mass. The sausage was sparse and unappetizing, both visually and taste-wise, and the crust was thin, hard, and tasteless. A complete letdown. A little tip for the restaurant: November 12th is National Pizza With The Works Except Anchovies Day. Maybe they can redeem themselves then.

The menu primarily focuses on pizza and subs, but they also offer a variety of quick options like wings, salads, nachos, and pasta. You can purchase snacks, drinks, or individual pizza slices, but I'd recommend opting for a freshly made pizza as they look much more appetizing. I tried their cheesesteak sub and chicken scallopini pasta, and both were hearty and flavorful. I personally preferred the sub over the pasta, which got a bit messy with the beef juices, making it hard to eat quickly. The place seems to be a local favorite. Keep in mind that the wait time for orders can be a bit longer during busy periods, especially with large family orders, but it's important to note that they offer quick food rather than fast food. The wait is still shorter than at a busy restaurant, so you can easily kill time on your phone.

We were in Dawson City for most of a week and went back to the Pan of Gold several times. Mostly we loved their pizza (there was one, perhaps experimental, pizza that was not for us . Lines can get long at times but the staff were friendly, good selection of snacks and drinks on hand (beer and pizza in the same place! .

Good place for food. One of the only places that has food during late nights. Staff was nice as well!

The pizza is excellent, and the service is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place!
