Located on the waterfront near the boat ramp and park in Dawesville this is a delightful spot for breakfast, coffee or light meal
Most of the food here at this waterside cafe is apparently home made by "Trish" and her family members and it certainly tastes like that is the case. Her home made sausage rolls are delicious and the Scotch Eggs are to die for. Do yourself a favour and give this happy friendly cafe a go. We have taken several groups of visiting guests to try out this cafe during their stays with us and none of them have walked away disappointed yet! Great food, lovely people and a beaut spot. Worth the effort.
This is a regular stop for us for lunch and an estuary break. There's a good range of fresh and tasty food available and the staff are usually friendly. It would be good if orders didn't take quite so long. It pays to be in a relaxed timeframe, because even a simple coffee order can cause quite a wait. The visiting magpies are a delight.
We dropped in here for coffee after our walk along the Dawsville inlet. The last time I was here this was a petrol station with coffee also provided to take away. Now it's a cafe only with inside and outside sitting areas. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere laid back. Water bowls are provided outside for the dog walkers.
