I could have gone to the supermarket, but my hunger got the best of me. The hotel desk clerk tried to help by ordering from Papa John's, but they seemed clueless when it came to making a cheese-less pizza. The toppings were sparse, with only a few veggies scattered thinly over the sauce. It was not worth the nearly $20 price tag, which included delivery and a $5 tip. I should have complained, but didn't want to give off a bad impression. They delivered what I ordered, but I would not recommend this place unless you speak Spanish and can instruct them on how to make your pizza properly.
I was extremely hungry and the vegan/vegetarian options in the city are not great, especially when the Asian restaurant closes at 3:30. I was so hungry that I almost considered going to the supermarket, but decided against it. The hotel front desk was very helpful, but Papa John's seemed to have no idea how to make a cheeseless pizza. There were very few vegetables on the thin layer of sauce, with only one piece of pepper or mushroom per bite. On top of that, it was expensive, costing almost $20 including delivery, and I even added a $5 tip. I should have complained, but I didn't want to cause a scene. I have learned my lesson and will not be ordering from them again. I only recommend this place if you are able to supervise and instruct them on how to make your pizza in Spanish.
I was desperately hungry and the vegan/veg options in the city are bad when the Asian place closes at 3:30. would probably have been in the super market, but starving. the hotel desk was very helpful, but the papa johns seemed to understand nothing about making a cheeseless pizza. there was only a small handful of vegetables on the very thin layer of the sauce. you get 1 piece of pfeffer or mushroom per bit. here is the kicker, it was expensive, almost $20 included the delivery and I threw in a $5 drink money. I should have complained, but that's a bad look after goos. I have what I ordered for them. not recommended unless they can stand above them and tell them how to make their pizza on Spanish.
I would recommend trying out different types of pizza to determine which one is best. My experiences at this restaurant have been okay so far, but nothing outstanding that would make me want to return.
Friendly helpful staff, clean and delicious veggie options
