The Old Plough - Daventry

Visited this place after we visited our narrow boot to Union carrier. warm friendly reception, excellent eating and many drinks. and storage when they are so inclined. sharing plateter starter is great as main course, sinking and chips are excellent value.

On the Barge holiday and today stopped here. we wanted to eat in a chain pub at the canal, but this pub was recommended by the local metzgern. now, eating was very tasty cooked in the house and at a reasonable price. highly recommended return on Friday and had a fish meal. as well as the previous visit very friendly and new owners with the vision to make this pub a real place. we look forward to a visit in a year or so.

Beautiful pub in a beautiful village with very friendly bar staff. we have made our drinks over us. I couldn't do enough for us, great ales too!

Had a great meal at the plough. under new management and it shows! great eating and good beer!

Very cosy little pub. Been there quite a few times driving back from rugby. Will be back again. Nice and friendly staff.
