Early Doors Micropub - Daventry

If you want a great pint, friendly welcome and a traditional pub atmosphere then this is the best place in town. Be warned though there is no bland pop music blaring out, no nasty chemical beer, no pretentious bottled cider flavored with kiwi, mango and everest yeti sweat or some such garbage and no generic 'chain pub ' rubbish. There is just a range of great beers and nice people chatting and having a laugh.

Mine and my wife's favourite place to go to with out the children in tow,great beer lovely atmosphere ,platters are lovely and tasty bar snacks ,be careful of the chilli scratching there hot...

The Early Door is a real tiny treasure, good selection of artisan ales, plus other tipples included local; Ciders and Gin. Always a good atmosphere a very welcoming place to be. Oh!the designated driver isn't forgotten with a smashing selection of old-fashioned pops and other soft drinks.

I love this place! caroline went more than the extra mile for us, as one of our party has mobility problems and one of us has special nutritional requirements, so she ensured that we were all cared for. the plates are beautiful; with beautiful broth, cold meat, cheese etc. the sauvignon blanc and rose limonade went very well down with the trinkern and nominated riders! so a chilled place to catch with friends in a truly welcoming atmosphere. love it!
