The service we got from our waiter was very poor I know they were busy and I understand but it took him a half hour to bring us our food when he told us it was done we got it cold.
This is a nice midscale restaurant that is similar to an outback without the onion. Service was excellent. You get bread with all means. The outdoorsy decor is fun. It has several rooms inside and ample parking outside. Everything was really clean.Prices are a little high with meals from 17 to 50 dollars per person. Hamburgers are really good with a wide choice of sides.Again, the best thing about this place was the service.
Order the 51$ BUTCHER?S CUT BONE-IN RIBEYE Medium Wheel for Takeout and once I got it home, it was good-done. I expected to get a refund/replacement shop credit, but I was offered a 25$ voucher instead. Matthew Carroll was usually pleasant to treat, but his slow response rate and the 25$ voucher is the reason why I decided to leave this review. In addition, I was not impressed by the rest of the order and after spending $90 total I think I should be.
I haven't been here for lunch for some time, but it was nice not to wait as usual for dinner. I ordered the Salmon Fresca (the speciality of the day), which on their dinner menu, but the lunch was about half the cost. The lunch special did not include the normal bread before the meal or the asparagus I really enjoyed (and this is included in the dinner version), but she brought it out when I asked and it was perfectly cooked.
Very underwhelmed with this experience! Server (Noah) was polite and professional. But Noah forgot salad offered to bring well with main course... who wants a salad next to a duck? Beef can be chosen well aged, but the placement of the main rib on a grid is unacceptable. I never have a piece of beef that resembles a grilled cheese rather than that of imaginable beef (especially Iowa beef). Sourcream received sought horseradish with a hint of horseradish. Had to ask for raw horseradish to compensate for the back of the house she calls. Kids chicken fingers were only Gorden foods frozen ****. The ambience decoration cries joy, but Subpar serves laughing plates cry for help. If a location demands premium price, you would expect a little more. Thunder Bay is an upscale menu as Taco Bell is authentic Mexican????? It was pale, but would not return.
