Last time I mentioned that I was in the village, the scoop was closed and I wanted to try. Now was the time to experience it! The shop is small and brightly colored. Rear benches line half space, with back from ski (boards? other snow sliding accessories? I don't really know... The floor is a very shiny new wooden laminate and the upper head is covered in a white ceiling with a combination of fluorescent and hanging dome lamps. It looks all clean, bright and happy as an ice salon should. I chose a round of orange pineapple for my evening dessert. I don't know why I expected it to be Sorbet, but was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be real ice! It had the fruity taste that I had from dessert with all the smoothness that expected from a handcrafted ice cream. So beautiful! Given the relatively small size of the village of East Davenport, I can easily imagine that this special night will happen again. Dinner followed by ice in this place. I'm looking forward to the next trip. Thank you. Here's the scoop!
So far I had the birthday cake and the watermelon mint sorbet. It tasted like fresh watermelon and mint, I love it!!! My husband had the chocolate cake battery he enjoyed. I can't wait to come back and try more.
What better way to spend national Ice cream day, than at the best ice cream shop in the QC! ?No, really. Head there for the best homemade ice cream!

Such a great little gourmet ice cream shop. Our family enjoyed some scoops of ice cream (raspberry sorbet, strawberry rhubarb pie, lavender honeycomb and goat cheese/roasted cherries. Even the dog loved her pup cup. Will be back soon. ?
