But the other day I had the worst experience ever. I am Immuno compromised severely. Have not eaten out one time during covid 19. But ordered for myself and pregnant daughter 2 shakes and 2 burgers. Simple. She came out with 3. Nicely explained it wasn’t what we ordered. Cause I didn’t wanna take someone else’s shake. She had a huge attitude. Watched Her touch the door knob. Not wash her hands. Touch my lid, straw, cup and squeeze one into the other. Then touch counter and door knob again and try to give it to me. I nicely explained I am sick and can not take it due to her not washing her hands.we watched through the glass window. She got very angry and said yes I washed my hands. and said fine. Let me get your change and stormed inside. Outside when she realized I was crying. She admitted she was wrong. And wouldn’t let me leave as she was talking without a mask in my window. Totally risked my life. Unprofessional, unsanitary and not compassionate. And to top it off I didn’t get refunded all the milkshake money cause they charged me for 3. So disappointing. I understand moving to phase 2 is stressful. But to drop the ball on people who are supporting local businesses is not fair. Even the owner came out and was so rude and yelled at me about their hand washing when my daughter and I clearly saw her touch door, surfaces and my cup without washing. They also had no masks or gloves on cooking or serving. I just feel service should be stepped up to guideline for the health of all immune compromised, elderly and all others wanting to eat and support small businesses.
