Barrel House - Davenport

Always one of our favorites. They have a wide menu and the service is always outstanding. Think comfort foods and sports bar food combined. Would recommend everyday and twice on Sundays

When you visit Barrel House ask for Gracie. Tell them George Burns sent you to see Gracie. Share your stories and exchange stories. When you leave..be sure to say good night Gracie!!

Food was good. Ordered carry out. It’s was right at 10:30. The lady talking my order let us order even though they we’re done taking orders. Very grateful for this! When we walked into the restaurant to pick up our food we were not greeted. A lady just yelled Kitchen is Closed!! Without even knowing that we were just picking up. Our lady that took our order ended up taking care of us.

The hospitality is always appreciated here and I like the traditional feel of the place. It has classic, good food. My one “complaint” (If you can even call it that) is that the “firecracker” foods aren’t even remotely spicy and really don’t taste much different than the normal items. That won’t stop me from enjoying a meal there!

Solid place, not sure if barrel house is a chain but it felt a little like it. It is in a very amazing neighborhood, but just feels a little commercial. The food and beer selection were solid.
