La Vista - Daufuskie Island

Closed. Only place to eat on this island is the Daufuskie Old Crab Company joint. That's it. Nothing else.

Second place we attempted to eat on Dafuskie and this place is also closed. Such as a shame, the setting looks like it would be beautiful.

Definitely should have checked Yelp before coming here. We came with our family and the service was fine even though understaffed. But the food was such a joke. My husband got the shrimp scampi and it was basically a pile of buttered pasta with 5 shrimp. No seasoning, nothing. I got the veggie burger (and I 've had beyond burgers before) and it was dry and completely uninspired. Like they microwaved it. Overpriced. Lovely spot, but just come for a drink. Fried mushrooms were good kind of hard to mess up.

What a wonderful find in such a secluded area! Right on the water, great food, fun employees! We will definitely be going back!

This little spot isn 't on the map for most Dufuskie island visitors. There 's some signs but it 's mostly hidden. I 'm glad I found it though. My wife and I came down and decided to try it out. Food was a little pricey but that 's what is to be expected on an island, and they were out of a few items. Service was friendly and quick. Food was pretty good too. Not the most amazing thing in the world but a good find. Also, our server was known as Bar Daddy fun atmosphere!
