Super restaurant to go out to eat with vegans and non vegans vegan options cost the same as non vegan dishes relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant, central location in the old town good concept: you can choose between a snack portion and ordering the dish as a main course the vegan truffle mayonnaise is highly recommended with the fries (a dip is included in the price)

We went here today for lunch and were really excited about all the different vegan options! Ingredients are sourced locally and it all sounded great on paper. A friend and me picked the Maisschnitzel but we were both really disappointed because it was just two very dry pieces of breading. The fries and the truffle mayo were amazing but we did not expect that the schnitzel does not even come with any decorative salad leaves that might have evened out the dryness. The meals of our vegetarian and meat-eating friends looked really good though and there is a good lunch deal, but it sadly was not available in vegan but only for a meat and vegetarian option. A friend who visits here often was also surprised by how long it took to get our orders today. Also they were out of burger buns, so maybe we just picked a bad day. I am still very curious about the vegan Kaiserschmarrn though and will probably come back another day to give it another chance. Updated from previous review on 2023-05-23

Although this is not a vegan restaurant, they seem to be focused on good ingredients and sustainability. They try to avoid food waste by having a smaller and bigger size for every meal which I liked. The vegan/vegetarian options are listed first on the menu! There are two vegan Schnitzel options and a few vegetarian ones. In addition, there are multiple vegan side dishes and most sauces are vegan. I had the Mais Schnitzel with fried potatoes and it was both really good! I also ordered a small portion of vegan Kaiserschmarrn as a dessert. Perfect place to come to with omni friends or family who don‘t want to settle for a 100% vegan restaurant.

I was overwhelmed with the wide range of vegan dishes. Very delicious. Definitely a must!

Perfect if you are traveling with friends as a vegan/vegetarian restaurant. There are some vegan options, all very delicious!
