This is a very nice pub. The Sunday lunch was excellent, and the service was prompt. The portion sizes were perfect and offered great value for money.

We decided to book Sunday lunch featuring beef based on previous reviews, and we were eager to support a community-run pub. Upon arrival, we learned that there was a last-minute change in chefs, so instead of roast beef, we could have beef steak. One of us ordered the beef while the other opted for turkey. The food was excellent, especially the vegetables, though it felt a bit unusual to have stuffing and a sausage with the beef, while the turkey came with a Yorkshire pudding. Nevertheless, we enjoyed everything and swapped some food around! All the staff members were friendly and attentive. Since it was Sunday lunch, we felt the music could have been a bit quieter, but overall, we would definitely return again.

The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The service is friendly and the pacing is just right.
