The Fat Beagle Cafe - Darfield

The Fat Beagle Café, seems a very popular spot. The style of the Café was welcoming and the toilets were clean. The food, I ordered the Pancakes with Banana and Maple Syrup (As seen in the picture). I believe it was one of best Pancakes I have ever had. Overall 5 Star, Nice Food, Nice Building, Nice Café. What else could you ask for on a Sunday Lunchtime? Definitely will be back.

Milk lab almond milk Delicious coffee. Slight advice to not use such a strong smelling marker on takeaway coffee cups, but no one's fault. Accommodating for us vegans. Would travel for this coffee easily.

The Fat Beagle is fantastic! It's a charming and cozy place. The coffee is great, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The service was quick too, which is always a plus. I usually opt for the big breakfast, and I can confidently say that The Fat Beagle's was one of the best I've ever had. The scrambled eggs were delicious, and the bacon was perfectly crispy. If you're in Darfield, visiting The Fat Beagle is a MUST!

I had to wait about 25 minutes for my food and drinks, but it was absolutely worth it. I ordered the roasted veggie frittata with a beet and lentil salad, a raw raspberry cheesecake, and an iced coffee. Honestly, it's been my favorite meal so far in New Zealand. There was also a charming little artsy shop in the building, but it was unfortunately closed; I would have loved to browse while waiting for my food. Kudos to the chef, everything was spot on. Thank you for offering such delicious vegetarian and vegan options!
