Hook Reel Cajun Seafood

I know it’s a seafood place but, I had ribeye. I’m not a fan of pan fried steak however, this was a very good steak. The staff was attentive and courteous and the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of food.

We wanted seafood boil and we wanted to eat outdoors on a beautiful summer evening. So we found this Hook Reel which seemed to be the only one that offered outdoor seating in the area. Our group arrived at about 7pm on a Friday and it appeared that we missed the rush because very few people were eating inside and no one seated outside so we had the outside area to ourselves. The server Andre was amazing! He was very gentle and accommodating and anticipated our needs. The food was great, I ordered the crab leg boil and let me tell you, I ordered the hook reel sauce medium level and it was SPICY! I loved it, struggled a bit but for those that can't handle it, get mild or a no spice at all. Anyway, glad I found this gem that offered everything we were looking for.

The customer service is ok. The food is not as good. The restaurant is not as clean as the hook and reel in Franklin Mills. I wouldn’t come here again. For the prices, I expected more. I asked for sauce for my wings, the waiter brought me water in a sauce cup with Cajun seasoning. I can’t make this up lol!

Seafood was excellent and the young lady who served our table was outstanding
