Portuguese people don't eat beans and tostones. They don't have a proper menu...they give you a paper brochure that is half ripped. We were looking through their wine list, and every bottle we asked for, they didn't have. The waitress was searching through their dusty bottles on the shelf as if she were at her home searching through her old collection. On top of it, they don't post the bottle prices, so we got charged $40 for a wine that we know normally costs $8.The chicken was in a weird pink sauce, the shrimps tasted funky and were overcooked, and they give you a very small amount of rice. Will NEVER go back here again. We were the only ones eating there, and the waitress would just hang out right behind us, leaning over the bar, overhearing our conversation. We could not wait to get the heck out of there. Don't waste your money. This place is a dump.
It is not a portuguese restaurant. Expensive food. They only had one bottle of portuguese wine. I'm not happy with the A Logosta at all.
Great food, nice ambiance and lots of food options. You must check them out. You can thank me later.
This review is for the restaurant part of this place. We went up to the counter to get seated. The layout of the restaurant is strange. It looks like a sports bar in one area, but formal dining room in the other. Our waitress approached us saying something in Spanish which we couldn 't hear. My husband assumed she was asking what we want to drink so he ordered a water. She looked at us and said oh y 'all not ready? And walked away. She came back a bit later with 1 water for my husband, then we ordered our food. I then asked for a drink menu and she said they didn 't have one but I could ask for anything. At this point I thought she 'd warmed up to us because she suggested a drink with a smile. I told her I 'd think about it. A while later, she came back and my husband asked if they have Patron Añejo. We described it as the yellow bottle (it has a yellow ribbon and comes in a yellow box). She was unaware of the different kinds of Patron, so she said she would have to check. She came back and said they have the Patron silver, the orange one, and cafe. My husband asked if the orange one was Reposado and she agreed that it was the orange bottle. We each ordered doubles, chilled. When she brought it out, my husband took a sip and noticed it tasted sweet. We asked the waitress if anything was mixed into it. And she said no and that it was the orange tequila. I pulled up a picture of the Reposado that we asked for and she said that wasn 't the bottle. It ended up being an orange liqueur which is definitely not what we meant to get. She said she didn 't know what we were asking for and that we should have said Reposado, which we did. It seemed to be a misunderstanding, but since it wasn 't what we asked for, we would expect to be offered something different, but we weren 't. I wanted to try to mix mine into another drink so while we waited for our food, I asked for a margarita with Patron silver and NO sour mix, only lime juice. She agreed that they don 't use sour mix. We finally got our food and we both enjoyed our entrees (Steak and Sausage Arroz Chaufa)! I finished eating my meal and still hadn 't gotten my drink. I noticed the waitress at the bar chatting with someone and I was getting ready to get up and ask to cancel my drink order if it wasn 't made because we were ready to leave. But I saw her approaching. After tasting it I realized it was mostly sour mix. I 've had many margaritas and enough tequila to know what 's in my drink. We asked for the check and I sat there trying to force down most of the margarita in disappointment because I was sure we would be charged out the a We got our hand written bill and it came out to $88. $36 for beverages which included $20 for the glasses of orange liqueur, $12 for the margarita, and the rest for water. Still seems bizarre to me that we ended up having to pay $20 for drinks that were not what we 'd asked for. I wanted to like this place and the food is good. We figured the bar would be a better time. Unfortunately we felt ripped off with our drinks because our waitress didn 't communicate our orders correctly. If you do go here, I 'd recommend ordering your drinks at the bar if it 's anything but beer.
So atmosphere is very beautiful and music is on constantly! Spanish music playing This place is very nice, the food is VERY DELICIOUS and prepared very well and pretty! The owner is amazing and the waitress is so friendly and kind. The bar and restaurant are split which I love and the dance floor is in the middle. definitely trying again! I would absolutely say give this place a try with no doubt!
