City Square - Dar es Salaam

The food was not disappointed, the staff was ready to serve and take orders when we entered. We were a party of 5. The fruit juices are delicious.

My favorite place in downtown Dar. Good food, great coffee and the best staff. Even a taxi for me. Service beyond expectation.

I loved the food in this restaurant, although I recognized the food in the glass display cases, I can't say that I can name the dishes. I love to find local African restaurants, and that was certainly one of them.... as it is always a good sign for me to see places with locals. There was a good selection of different types of fish, including fresh tuna and king fish, as well as goats I went for vegetable rice, stew beans and goat meat (packed in tinfoil, which proved to be a delicious, and very fleshy, goat's leg). Although obviously not high kitchen, for me this is infinitely better, substantial, incredibly tasty, satisfying and served in a truly local joint. Came around £16 for two.

I loved the food and drinks. Great customer service and its strategically located in the city.

Cool place. Great food. Extraordinary service. The real Hakuna Matata feeling.
