Captain Franks Hotdog Emporium

I love this restaurant, there is a nice little touch to the community. It is the only hot dog compound around and they definitely make an amazing dog and pommes. They have recently updated their hours, say Christmas just to get a feeling of how customers react and I must say I love the new hours. Before it was almost impossible to go because they were always closed after I left work, this is no longer the case.

Captain Franks is an original. Great dogs and great shoes with fries. Good people, good service and thanks for letting me shoot some photos, Cheers!

It's hard to find a good Chicago dog in Kentucky, but Captain Frank has a great one!! Friendly, covered and delicious. I definitely recommend trying while you are in town!

Came for the work of Cincinnati. Lunch stopped and was not disappointed. Two hot dogs, fries and some banana pudding ice cream. Good.

Captain Frank's features a number of different hot dog preparations. They also offer brats and Polish sausage if you prefer something a little bit larger. The service is good and is usually provided by the owner which does make a difference. My only small complaint is the price. The menu items are somewhat pricey for what you are getting. It's not a cheap meal but worth a stop if you are in the area.
