Mothership On Main - Danbury

We had the Flight of Tacos, pork belly, maccheese and the potpie.... EVERYTHING was mouthwatering. The salted caramel brownie the fruit thingy we had for dessert were amazing. BUT, the pièce de ré·sis·tance, were the Chimichurri Epic Fries aptly named!...we decided we could eat them all.day.long. You must go....the space is, as always, so welcoming and relaxing....and now, with this amazing dinner menu, well, it's perfection

We made a reservation through OpenTable a week in advance and received all confirmation communications leading up to the date. However, when we arrived after driving over an hour, we were surprised to find that the restaurant was closed with no explanation. Despite attempting to contact them by phone and seeing no indication on the door, we found no answers. This situation was particularly disappointing as we had coordinated to meet another family and pick up our cadets from a nearby military academy with limited leave time.

We ordered the Flight of Tacos, pork belly, mac and cheese, and the pot pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. The salted caramel brownie and the fruit dessert were amazing. However, the highlight of the meal were the Chimichurri Epic Fries (aptly named!) - we couldn't stop eating them. The atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming and relaxing, and combined with the fantastic dinner menu, it was truly a perfect experience. You must check it out!
