As I waited I watched 5 staff all go about taking orders for the drive thru but no one even noticed myself who was in line. No I 'll be right with you nothing. I finally walked out and another customer who was sitting down noticed what took place and me shaking my head and said I know . Apparently this is common practice. Never go here again
I went through the drive at 6:20 was at 6:25 with all my things. I did this three times a week when I wanted to work. the workers were pleasant and informative. it is nothing wrong with this place
My god this place is a disaster. I came here late at night as it was one of the few places open. After the employee literally nodded at me to take my order I asked if they serve food at 3 am (it looked like only one person was there) and got a it says it 's open 24 hours right? with an attitude. No receipt, no napkins, half of the normal serving of hash browns, food just thrown in a bag onto the counter with no words. Sorry for being an inconvenience to the employee....
After visiting Dunkin Donuts in Danbury I can say for sure that some of these negative reviews are extreme. As of this review, one yelper commented on mean staff that don't speak English. After reading these extreme reviews complaining about poor service from a gas station that has a Dunkin in it, I was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was not in terrible shape. For example, there were a few welcome amenities that are typically not provided at the run-of-the-mill Dunkin Donuts gas station establishments. I found chargers for any device you'd like to plug in embedded in the tables and a very clean seating area. I found that the baked goods were fresh, and for a gas station Dunkin Donuts, I was also surprised to find the wide variety of flavors available including Oreo stuffed donuts and other goodies. My drink was well-prepared and I took full advantage of the deal that Dunkin donuts is offering which allows you to grab a fancy pants cappuccino at the low cost of $2. I would say that I thoroughly enjoyed it, but my one complaint would be that the service seemed a little slow. The personnel seemed more inclined to help drive-thru customers than walk up customers. However that being said I feel that this is the case for many fast food establishments, I remember going to plenty of McDonald's that prioritize drive-thru customers, because let's face it this is the suburbs and everyone drives. Overall my experience was positive and I did not enter Dunkin donuts having overblown expectations like that it would be as comfortable as a local coffee house that offers exposed brick interiors and fancy coffee pours. This Dunkin donuts met and exceeded my expectations and if I was going along interstate 84 again and need to stop off for gas in Danbury then I would not hesitate to pull in and grab a cup of Joe.
I'm sorry to say, but this Dunkin' Donuts location was a real disappointment. We waited in the drive-thru for 25 minutes with only one car in front of us. When we went inside, we encountered three workers who were moving at a snail's pace and seemed to be in terrible moods. While something might have happened to make them feel this way, it was quite apparent. They made us feel like we were an inconvenience. We won’t be returning to this location; I’d rather drive the extra ten minutes to the next Dunkin' Donuts, even if it interrupts my day. None of the staff seemed to be smiling either.
