Surprisingly fresh, excellent food for a sports bar! The cheese twigs, Caesar salad, sushi nachos and crab flatbread were all superb! As was the speed and quality of service. Also a wonderful selection of beer on tap, and free tasters. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Hornets Nest is the local watering hole the first spot that comes to mind when cooking doesn't feel like the vibe. You'll feel right at home surrounded by Hornets gear and many locals, if you're from the area you'll more than likely run into a familiar face. The service is always great. The staff always have great attention to detail, are polite, and quick. The food is consistent and delicious. Hornets Nest fries with their ranch or their hornet sauce are a hard hitter. My go-to on the menu has got to be the buffalo chicken wrap, but it's hard to go wrong. Their burgers are great, and the rest of their sandwich list is as well. One of my favorites is their take-out. You can order from your phone and pay when you pick-up. So quick and easy, and really saves us in a crunch.

You'll definitely get a feel for the Damascus vibes here with sports jerseys on the wall and lots of hometown pride. The servers here are also super amazing! Very attentive and friendly. Food variety is quite plentiful, ranging from sashimi tacos, French dip, burgers and salads. Price point is also very affordable especially for the DMV area. Stop by if you're in town!
