Creator Burger - Daly City

We absolutely loved it! The portions were generous, the brioche bun was fantastic, and everything tasted fresh and incredible. We'll definitely be coming back!

They should really consider renaming it to "Well Done Burgers." Why? Because that’s the only way you can get your burger. I found the concept intriguing, especially since the burgers are made by robots. However, you can't actually see any of the process because it's completely enclosed. I assume that the oven is robotic, or something like that, but all I ended up with was a mediocre, overcooked burger. It seems they're temporarily closed now, and I'm not sure if they’re planning to rebrand or what, but that might not be a bad idea. The prices are reasonable, but honestly, it's not worth going out of my way for. I would probably choose one of the other dining options at Westlake or nearby instead.

While some may view Creator as just a tech gimmick, I can assure you that their burgers are genuinely delicious and very reasonably priced. You can fully customize your burger with various toppings and sauces at no extra cost, or you can opt for one of their preset combinations. The fries are exceptional—crispy and hot, and definitely some of the best I've had in a long time. The burger itself is outstanding; the robot freshly grinds the meat, shapes it into a patty, and grills it right there. There are also other automated processes involved. Overall, it's an intriguing concept that delivers a high-quality burger made from local ingredients. It far surpasses any fast food option, all while being more affordable than typical restaurant burgers. My star rating: 5—must go!! 4—give it a try! 3—it was alright. 2—I probably won't go back. 1—turn around and run!
