Tacos De Canasta - Dallas/Ft Worth AP

So not first time I come here but first time in a long time. I love this place they have my favorite tacos De vapor. Okay so for those who are not familiar with those tacos let me explain. Imaging some tacos filled with 3 options, beans, pork and mixed. Now the way they cook them is they layer all these tacos and pour hot oil over them allowing the vapor of oil to cook them slightly. They are a bit oily but they are freaking delicious. They sell them in orders of 5. I also got some tacos the barbacoa wich was very lean and delicious as well. Very good food come support.

Came for the first time, the food was wonderful! The lady at the front was kind and informative. I tried a trompo taco and it was so tender and flavorful.

My husband and I were reminiscing about tacos de canasta in Mexico. Our usual place in Dallas was closed so we decided to try TacosCanasta. It’s located in Irving inside a beer and wine shop. The place is exceptionally clean-restrooms too! We tried the canasta tacos, street tacos, dorados and the quesadilla—LOVED THEM! They left our tab open so we could order more which reminded us of being in Mexico with a street taco vendor. We tried the different meat/flavor offerings—haven’t decided which is our favorite yet.All was a feast for my mouth! We will definitely return. And the customer service is phenomenal. The 2 ladies taking orders and cooking are precious. They were very accommodating and worked hard to keep us satisfied. They bring the food out to you at the bar area and take your extra orders. They also bus your area when they deliver another batch of tacos. We were shocked once we got rung up. It was much cheaper than we thought and the experience was worth way more than that! This place made it to our list of regular places to visit.

Hands down the best tacos in oakcliff, authentic tasty! My favorite are the tacos al vapor, extra greasy seem to always hit the spot
