Namo - Dallas/Ft Worth AP

I've visited Namo three times—twice for a regular off-the-menu dinner and once for one of their special Omakase nights. Each visit was absolutely worth it. The staff members have been incredibly courteous and informative, teaching us about aspects of the menu we were unfamiliar with. The food is simply exquisite. Even with my limited experience, I can tell the quality of the fish is far superior to that of cheaper local options. They frequently update their menu to reflect seasonal offerings and boast a selection of Japanese whiskey and sake that will leave you wanting a bottle of your own. Namo has become my favorite fine dining destination in Dallas. **RECOMMENDATION:** It’s definitely worth making a reservation for indoor seating at the very least. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but I highly recommend their Omakase Wednesdays. This option offers a more intimate atmosphere where you’ll get to try dishes you might not have considered if they were just listed on the menu. My Omakase experience included 20 beautifully presented plates, each featuring fish prepared in unique styles with special sauces and garnishes. For anyone who finds it hard to get full on sushi, THIS is the way to go! **NOTE:** Given the indoor seating arrangements, I wouldn’t advise bringing a group larger than four. If you have four people, you’ll likely be seated in a corner of the box-shaped layout, allowing everyone to converse easily. Any larger group might find it a bit cumbersome to interact. **Parking:** If you're lucky, you might find a few spots right in front of the restaurant. More often than not, you'll need to use a parking garage. There’s one right next to Namo and another directly across McKinney Ave.

Absolutely amazing! I've enjoyed incredible sushi around the world, and I would rank Namo among the finest. The fish was flawless, and the service was outstanding. Everything felt genuinely authentic. It is on the pricier side, but your taste buds will surely appreciate it. Food: 5/5

If you're in search of excellent sushi, this is the place to go. The service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious. I tried the edamame and tuna sashimi, which was very satisfying. Just a heads up, the portion sizes are relatively smaller, and the prices are... I would definitely return to this restaurant.

The food was excellent, but the overall experience left much to be desired. We opted to sit outside on the small patio, but the acoustics were poor, making it difficult to hear our waitress or even converse with one another. This is not what you would expect from a high-end Japanese restaurant. Inside was even noisier. While the food was truly enjoyable, it’s not a place we would choose to return to.

I celebrated my birthday at Namo because I'm a huge sushi fan, and it did not disappoint at all! My boyfriend and I had a fantastic experience and plan to come back. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and incredibly friendly. The chefs were attentive to the customers, which really enhanced our experience. The fish they serve is sourced from Japan and is of exceptional quality. Once again, we will definitely be returning!
