Whataburger - Dallas

I've always tasted good and great food from this brand . Unfortunately, the location on retail rd in Dallas disappointed me. Orders were confused and when I received my food the taste was not what I usually get from this brand. I did not want to wait 20plus or more minutes to take it back to get it right. It will be a while before I attempt a visit. ????

I visited a 24-hour restaurant late at night, but to my surprise, the doors were locked. This made it quite inconvenient to go through the drive-thru at 11 PM to resolve my order, especially with a long line wrapped around the building. I didn't receive my fries with my combo, nor the regular ketchup. I tried calling for help, but no one answered. Ultimately, I decided it just wasn't worth it.

Cons: 10 minutes to take my order? Employee taking orders could not speak proper English and could not understand me... Did not know how to read back order and or complete the order with a drink Orders are incorrect 2 out of 5 times on a norm and I goto this place daily. Yes, I know I eat a lot of whataburger. Unorganized and need to repeat my order at the speaker and at thepay window. Often times incorrect Pro: Rosalinda is the nicest lady in the drive thru that I have ever had the pleasure ofmeeting. The rest of the team could take their queue from Rosalinda on how custom centric gestures makes a difference.

This was the first time a Whataburger got my wife's simple burger right. She ordered a Whataburger Jr. with just extra mayo, extra pickles, and cheese. I've heard that a happy wife makes for a happy life! They really listened to her order, and I didn’t have to ask for it to be remade multiple times like we did at the Greenville location. A big thank you to the gentleman who took my order!

The food here is consistently good, so you won't be let down. I usually place my order online first and then go through the drive-thru. However, the drive-thru pick-up experience could use some improvement. Even though they know I'm arriving and have my food prepared, the staff seem to be running in circles. It would be helpful if they had a team leader to provide direction and training. There's a lot of bumping and confusion among the workers, which often leads to mistakes in the order. It seems like they might be dealing with the same challenges as many low-wage employers these days. It's clear that a living wage is important to ensure better service and morale.
