Thai Opal is one of our favorite restaurants. I've loved everything I've tried although I am especially fond of the Garlic Stir Fried with Shrimp. Lots of big garlic slices. But what really sets Thai Opal apart is the attention to details. The beautiful plating of the food, the comfy cushions on the bench seats, the hot towels before the meal it's obvious that the owner really cares about the restaurant and wants to be sure guests have a great experience. Also, the Tom Yum Noodle Soup is tasty and my better half often gets the Panang Curry, which he loves. Highly recommend!
Typical Thai restaurant menu favorites. Each dish was well prepared and met expectations. Clean. Appropriate. Better than others. Worth choosing over other area options. Tofu basil dish was perfect.

We were so lucky to stumble onto this little gem in the neighborhood! Great Thai food, wonderful service. And BYOB!!! Quite memorable.....
