Saucy's Thai Pho - Dallas

Every dish we tried was exceptional. We also ordered dumplings and spring rolls, which were quite good as well. While the spring rolls weren't my favorite, they didn't detract from the overall experience. The service was excellent and very attentive; we never had an empty glass of water. I will definitely be returning.

This is the best Thai takeaway I've discovered in Dallas, and I've tried at least five other restaurants. The Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) here has incredible flavor and sauce, just like you'd get in Thailand. And the Mango Sticky Rice? It's the best I've had outside of Thailand. Wow!

We started with the Haven Beef appetizer, which was delicious but didn't quite have that special touch to elevate it to exceptional. For our main courses, we ordered the Panang Curry with a super spicy level and the Spicy Basil at a medium spice level. The spice levels matched our expectations, and the portions were generous. However, both dishes were garnished with basil leaves that appeared to be past their prime, showing signs of dryness at the tips. Despite that, both dishes boasted excellent flavor and high-quality ingredients. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, although they were located in a serving area, which was not ideal. So, is this the best Thai restaurant in Dallas? Not quite. But is it worth a visit? Absolutely! I would definitely recommend it.

Just fyi they dont have the traditional egg rolls with fish sauce like at most other pho places. They only have sweet and sour sauce just in case you needed to know. Their peanut sauce is a bit different too. And thats Mike’s super short show.

My husband’s beef Pho and my tofu Pho were tasty and we even had enough to carry home. G, our server, was personable and attentive. Definitely we’ll be back on a cold day. We like our Pho!
