Sa Sa Sushi - Dallas

Cozy neighborhood dine. Can sit at the sushi bar or wait for a table. I had the dragon roll and it was delicious, it stood out from other versions I’ve had of it because the eel was seared, a little crispy which gave it a sweeter caramel-y flavor. They also have plum wine if you need convincing. That was perfection enough for me.

They had some really great options at good pricing. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that you only get 4 takoyaki balls, but they were really tasty! Also, definitely going back for that Bay Scallop roll. They LOADED it with scallops and it was delicious. The amount of fried calamari you get is also amazing. It was too much for one person for sure. Great crunch though, very satisfying. The agedashi tofu was also fantastic. I will be getting this again sometime soon. I also want to try their lunch specials and other rolls. Will be back for sure.

We adored the non-sushi items on the menu, particularly the edamame dumpling appetizer, which was fantastic! Unfortunately the sushi was covered in a sugary sauce that completely overpowered the fish and rice. The service was great, though, and we are looking forward to returning.

Easily one of the best sushi places in Dallas. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, absolutely delicious sushi. We typically do rolls here but the individual sushi and sashimi are tasty and fresh. Also worth trying out their ahi tuna tacos

This is the best sushi restaurant for sure. Shitake Salad was so testy and Volcano Roll was melting in my mouth and Sushi and sashimi are very fresh. Service is good and price is reasonable as well. I'm so happy to find this Sushi restaurant.
