Jasper’s Uptown - Dallas

The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was excellent. We chose this restaurant for our anniversary dinner and were delighted with our meal choices for the evening. They offer a diverse range of wines, with the Tenuta Guado Al Taso being a favorite of ours. Making a reservation on a weekend was also quite effortless.

Jasper's is a must-visit destination. Be sure to add this restaurant to your list of places to try. Jasper's Uptown could easily become your new favorite spot. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff is dedicated to ensuring you have an exceptional dining experience.

However, there were some odd things about the service. It took a while to get started. The host did not give us menus, and we had to wait for the server who greeted us first and later brought drink menus. Unfortunately, there was only one cocktail and one wine menu for a table of six, which wasn't enough. It took about thirty minutes before we received our drinks. I wish we had been given drink menus as soon as we sat down so we could have ordered more quickly. Once we got our drinks, everything ran smoothly. I appreciated that we weren't rushed, and everything was perfectly timed. It felt very European as our meal took around 2.5 hours. Our server was very friendly and did a great job overall. The only part I found odd was the first thirty minutes. Fortunately, we were with good company, so it didn't bother me too much. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice but slightly outdated. It could use a bit of updating in terms of decor and atmosphere. Despite that, it was a wonderful experience, and I would come back for a special occasion. Overall, I had an enjoyable dining experience at Abacus.

Food was excellent. Different flavors and not just another high end restaurant. Menu options give you a chance to try something different and amazing!! Service was great too, and you can tell the chefs took pride in the dishes they were puttingout.

Our servers name was Candice, she was great!!!! The food, the atmosphere, and the drinks were excellent. I had the venison, and my wife had the lamb. So tender! The Mac Cheese is probably the best I?ve ever had. I would definitely recommend to anyone.The bread and butter they give out at the beginning of the meal are delicious as well.
